  JOB DESCRIPTION

As Center General Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the Center's business, operational, and service success.

You will lead Sales and Service teams towards meeting and exceeding prescribed sales and operational goals. This includes training and inspiring a team of varied profiles, as well as creating a work environment that encourages trust, commitment, and success.

Additionally, you will work with the Center Sales Manager to provide day-to-day mentoring and oversight to the Educational Consultants.

 

Key tasks:

  1. Manage the Center and ensure smooth operations and delivery to students; provide everyday management and support to Center staff

  2. Create and provide timely and accurate reports that track and monitor all Center KPIs

  3. Manage Center results, such as sales targets and service quality
  4. Budget, plan, and forecast all Center costs

  5. Ensure that the Wall Street English methodologies and best practices are followed 

  6. Work closely with the Service Manager and create strong partnerships with the Service and Sales Teams to ensure their is mutual respect and understanding between the teams.

  7. Work with People Operations to ensure that all people-development strategies to support retention and excellent results are put in place

  8. Be responsible for the overall look and feel of the Center; create a welcoming environment for Students

  9. Develop and execute strategies to attract more Students and increase Wall Street English's market share

  10. Ensure that Student satisfaction and learning levels exceed expected benchmarks

  11. Find the balance between optimum sales levels while maintaining the quality of delivery

 

  JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. 7-10 years of sales experience, 5-10 years in management and operations

  2. MUST have had experiences managing teams of 40+ staff

  3. Strong people management skills and excellent emotional intelligence (EQ)

  4. Strong interviewing skills and the ability to forecast staff at risk

  5. Experience working with targets and under high pressure

  6. Long working hours (10:00am - 8:30pm, 6 days per week)

  7. Fluent in English (IELTS 5.5+) and Vietnamese

  8. Experience working in Vietnam and in a multi-cultural team

  9. Experience managing a business and a P&L

  10. Previous experience with Wall Street English is an added advantage
